My dear friend Twyla gave me this recipe… It’s divine:
Raw food cake
First soak two cups of raw nuts in cold water. Set aside.
About two cups of unsoaked blanched nuts in the food processor whizzing, add two heaping tbsp cocoa, and dates a few at a time until the crumbs stick together. Pour it into a springform pan and press down.
Just to be lazy, dont wash the processor. Now add the drained soaked nuts and while whizzing them, add
A few avocados,
One cup coconut oil,
One cup cocoa,
One cup honey or other sweetener,
Whiz it until it is as smooth as you can get it, pour it over the crumb base and refrigerate.
